SP1 and Outlook
I was running Office 2003 on a Windows 2003 (Terminal) Server and all was
working fine and Outlook was able to open and communicate with Exchange
without an issue. After applying SP1 for Server 2003, Outlook is no longer
able to communicate with Exchange, it begins to open and then gives the
following error:
"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook Window.
The set of folder could not be opened. The connection to the Microsoft
Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to
complete this action."
I am guessing this is due to the security tightening of DCOM. Has anyone
else experienced this and if so, found a fix?
I have replicated this is 2 different scenarios with the same results.
Thanks for your input!
