Hi all,
I'm having some issues with a 2000 Server and using a Travan 20/40 gig
drive. I'm trying to use the built-in backup software in 2000 Server. I
want to use 1 tape per week, let that tape keep being overwritten, then on
Saturday, change the tape to a new tape and have that one go everyday for a
week... Weekly rotation of tapes with daily backups. My problem is this:
The backup program tries to start, but comes up with the following error:
The operation was not performed because no unused media was available.

Also, I'm having problems with Windows 2003 Server's built-in backup
system.. It isn't starting when it is supposed to. Remote Storage is set to
Automatically start when the system starts, the tape is an Onstream 30gig
system, and using the same tape rotation as above... The program doesn't
even seem like its attempting to start running...it isn't producing a report
at all, and no noticable errors in the Event Viewer.
Any help with either of these would be awesome!
Thanks,
-Pugs
