Hi Jeff,

First of all, I am assuming this system is going to be part of a
domain. It is actually relatively simple if this is the case. See
http://tinyurl.com/4nawu for a quick tutorial on how to join xp pro to
the domain. If you need more info on joining win 2000 let me know.
After the reboot the user will be given a drop down menu at logon that
they can choose the domain name and enter the user name and password to
logon (the user name and password you created on the server).

FYI: You may also want to add the user to the local admin group if you
want the user to be able to install certain software and hardware
upgrades.
