Hi. Your SBS install is reporting 4 processors becuase Hyperthreading
enabled in your bios. SBS2k3 just like Win2k3 server supports 2 physical
processors with Hyperthreading, giving 2 physical processors and 2 virtual
processors. Depending on your system environment, requirements and opinion
of Hyperthreading you can enable/disable Hyperthreading in your motherboard
bios. If the only change made to your system was a reinstall because of a
failed hard disk i.e. no motherboard or bios changes, then Hyperthreading
was enabled on your original install by Dell.
The error/warning message displayed during the install should not stop you
from completeing the install. Once complete when you view the task manager
you should see 4 CPU graphs.
