Hi,
I am having a Windows 2003 Server DC on an IBM xSeries236 with IBM U320
SCSI Controller on IBM 36/72 GB DDS Gen Tape Drive. There is an error while
trying to backup any file on the server. It always prompt a message Error:The
device reported an error on a request to write data to media. Error reported:
Invalid Command. There may be a hardware or media problem. However, if I
backup the server system state file, it was successful and the error does not
appear, it appear only when it reaches the end of the backup process. I have
change the new tape but the error still exist. Please help.
Thanks
Chia
