Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble with a W2K3 server. Our Antivirus client uses a
dedicated account to start the update service. The problem is that
every time the server reboots, the antivirus update service fails to
start due to a logon failure.
When I go to services and check the logon information it still has the
right account but it seems like the password has been lost.
When I re-enter the password I always get the message that the account
has been granted the right to logon as a service. I would assume that
this has been done already.
All other services using service account start without a problem. I
reinstalled the Antivirus program already a couple of times but no
change. On other W2k3 servers the same antivirus client works fine and
the service remembers the password.
Has anyone an idea how to get rid of this behaviour.

Tia Markus
