Another ASP pages won't load question

I'm running IIS 6, and I can get HTML pages to load from my web server, but
not .ASP pages. When I try to load them, I get an HTTP 500 internal server
error.
I have allowed Active Server Pages on the Web Service Extensions tab of the
IIS manager, but it still doesn't work.
Any ideas other than configuring the server again?
