Double check the firewall setting (specially if you can ping gateway and
other server from Windows 2003 console).
Another test to do is to first ping Windows 2003 server from any computer on
same network segment. Once this is done (and it times out), check if you can
see ARP of Windows 2003 server. You can see ARP if you run the command
arp -a
Result should be something like this:
Interface: 10.10.10.10 --- 0x10003
Internet Address Physical Address Type
10.10.10.1 00-02-4b-15-53-50 dynamic
If ARP is valid (e.g. not 00-00-00-00-00-00) then there is a connection
between the computers but there is also a filter (e.g. firewall) between
them.
