we are running numerous file-servers with uses homedrives. We have a great
number of remote clients and laptop users. Due to migration and consolidation
we need to move the homedrives and cannot keep the servernames. How can me
automatically reconfigure the offline-folder configuration on the remote
clients? We talk about hundreds of homedrives, so calling them back or
sending supporters around is not an option.
To my knowledge there is only one tool CSCCMD, which is barely documented
and works once out of 4 tries properly. It is unacceptable that Microsoft
does not provide solutions for the huge amount of trouble this offline file
function creates. If there is a new tool, I need to know it... Thanks
