I’ve migrated a group of 20 xp pro computers from a novel work group to a
windows 2003 sever with roaming profiles. Where the desk top and the home
folder are saved on the server and SUS is installed all the computers The xp
pro machines all obtained have sp 2 the day of migration. My problem is when
I moved the computers to the new server some of the computer started having
disappearing icons. The icons would show up on the first boot they would work
the first time you clicked on them then they disappeared. They do not
reappear after rebooting. This only happens to some of the computer not all.
Does any body have any clue what could be causing this?
