Thanks Miha, thats just what I am looking for ...

W2K, XP and Server 2003 is what we are currently using.

Is there a programming interface to the MBSA and SUS?

Really I would like to be able to orchestrate the reporting and updating of
patches with an end report produced in PDF format that I can simply mail to
my customers. In that way I can also implement Anti Virus Sig checking in my
report along with Mailbox sizes (for Exchange) and disk space availablility.

Windows XP security components are able to detect whether the Virus
Signatures are out of date for 3rd party AV suites ... is this mechanism
available in an API also?

Appreciate you help, many thanks,

jON
