Here you have a link to the site of netcrunch
(http://www.adremsoft.com/netcrunch/index.php). It's a network monitoring
tool that might be helpfull. It can moniotor nodes, detect events that
indicate faults, notify users of problems (mail,sms,...) and activate
alerting actions.
