I am expereincing issues with a trust relationship between a parent and child
domain. The connection to the parent domain is via a VPN connection. I am
expereincing issues with pass throug authentication and replication betweent
the parent and child domain. When trying to validate the trust relationship
from the root domain I receive the following message (The secure channel (SC)
verification on domain controller \\server of domain to domain failed with
error : Access Denied. When I try to validate the trust on the child domain I
receive a message saying the LSA is unable to obtain an RPC connection to the
domain controller. Please check that the name can be resolved and is
available. If anyone has any tips for what to look into, it would be greatly
appreciated.
