I am not certain if I understand you scenario (Are you saying you have a
forest with two domains with the same NETBIOS name or two sites with the
same name?). In any case you cannot graft domains from one forest onto
another.. Domain Rename needs Windows Server 2003 forest functionality. Have
you identified the reasons why you domain rename failed?
