Hi,
I had been doing some testing with Windows 2003 Enterprise Server on a
single CPU server for awhile, with no problems at all.
Then, I tried to install Win2K3 onto one of our servers at work, which
has 4 Xeon CPUs and 16GB memory. Hyperthreading is disabled in the
BIOS, and we don't have the /PAE switch in the boot.ini.
Whenever this system is booted, I see a number of errors in Event
Viewer:

Event 4111

delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.
I've done some searching, and I think that the DTC errors may be related
to what's mentioned in this link:
http://www.jsiinc.com/SUBJ/tip4500/rh4593.htm
However, so far, I can't find any information on the Winmgmt error.
Also, I won't be able to try the DTC fix mentioned above until tomorrow,
but even if it works, I'm puzzled why I would be getting these errors
when Win2K3 is running on the 4-cpu server, but I've never gotten those
errors on my single-cpu server?
Thanks in advance,
Jim
