Disk Mirroring problem

I have set up disk mirroring on my server. The mirror
appears to be set up correctly and is reported as being
healthy.

When I attempt to reboot the server. I can only use the
Secondary Plex entry in the boot menu. If I attempt to
boot off the main entry, I get the message:

Windows could not start because the following file is
missing or corrupt. <windows root>system32\ntoskrnl.exe

I thought that the boot menu originated from the default
hard disk, so why can't it boot from it?
