You had some specific questions I didn't answer in the
last post. Sorry.

I'm applying the following policy from the Security Guide:
High Security - Member Server Baseline.inf

If I don't apply the policy, there is no problem. Neither
on a clean Win 2003 nor if I have the ProLiant Support
Pack (PSP) installed.

There is neither a problem if I apply the policy and
DON'T install the PSP.

So it really sounds like that there's a problem with the
policy combined with the PSP. I've also tried upgrading
the BIOS to the latest. But I've done so many reinstalls
now (50+) that I'm getting really confused so I will do
some more testing.

I will also get back to you on the excellent idea with
msconfig. I will post the result here beginning of next
week.
