There is no overall list.
The counters you need to monitor are those that you are concerned about in
your environment.
So you need to baseline your systems to establish the performance metrics
that are of concern to you and to then set the thresholds on those metrics
that you feel would then warrant investigation if they were exceeded etc.

For various Microsoft products we produce Operations Guides that provide
some STARTING points of things to monitor as part of the you basic
operational procedures etc.
Just go to Microsoft.com and do a search for Operations Guide
