I am connecting to a SQL Server database from ASP pages.
The web site and SQL Server are on two different
machines. The web server is running 2000 server.
Everything works fine.
I copied the web site to a 2003 server and I'm still
connecting to SQL Server on another machine (the same
database as was working with W2K). Now, intermittently,
the ASP returns:
New transaction cannot enlist in the specified transaction
coordinator
and there is a new event in the event viewer:
MS DTC is unable to communicate with MS DTC on a remote
system. MS DTC on the primary system established an RPC
binding with MS DTC on the secondary system. However, the
secondary system did not create the reverse RPC binding to
the primary MS DTC system before the timeout period
expired. Please ensure that there is network connectivity
between the two systems. Error

I have followed the recommendations of
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;329332&Product=winsvr2003
with partial success (it happens less often).
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,
Mark
