Hi
I have a W2K domain and I'm logging into it from a W2K Pro workstation with
a normal
Domain User account.
When I click on my network places and then search the Entire Network /
Microsoft Windows
Network, is it normal for me to be able to see and access the Netlogon and
SYSVOL folders
(located on a Domain Controller) from a client workstation. Should I be able
to see these folders
and access them while logged in as a normal domain user?
Also, when sharing folders located on a server, what is the best way to
enable access to users?
What I mean is, do users have to use the search entire network to locate the
folder and save
documents? or is there a way to put the shared folder on say, each users
dektop. Can I do this
from the server console.
Any Help appreciated. Thanks
