I have a Sharp printer that comes with it's own 98, Win2K,
XP print driver setup. When I try to install it, it runs
fine but fails to show up in the list of available
printers. However if I go to Print Server, Drivers, the
Sharp Driver is listed.
Ok, I thought I could finesse the problem by installing it
on a Win2K client & sharing it. It installs & works fine
on the client, but when I try to add it to the Win2003
Server as a network printer I get the following error
message;
"The current printer driver is not compatible with a
policy enabled that blocks Windows NT4.0 or Windows 2000
kernel drivers"
How to I disable this policy???
