Hi John,

I hope you have a copy of your boot.ini. Boot.ini files are not necessary
interchangeable between server. Configuration of boot.ini depends on hard
disk controller (IDE or SCSI), location of system partition and %windir%
directory

Did you run

fixboot
fixmbr

in recovery console?
