Are you using Group Policy? Check the Kerberos ticket lifetime under
Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Group Policy. The
default value is 10 hours, but if it were accidentally changed to something
much shorter than that, you would be prompted to re-enter your credentials
whenever your Kerberos tickets expired.
