Try this:
- Start a Command Prompt on the server
- Navigate to the problem folder
- Pick any file inside the folder, e.g. budget.xls.
- Type this command:
cacls budget.xls > c:\cacls.txt
- Post the contents of cacls.txt in your reply, stating
the name of the user account and if he is a member
of any groups.
- Ask the problem user to log on to his PC.
- Start a Command Prompt.
- Type this command and report the result in your reply:
set user
