Remote Desktop Connection fails

I have a pair of W2K3 servers. I use the remote desktop MMC to connect to
the console in Remote Desktop Connection to check a temperature logger that
(unfortunately) displays info only on the console; also for administrative
purposes.

Since last week one of the servers is refusing connection. From remote
desktop I get "Connecting.." and, after a second or so it goes
"Disconnected", no explanations of any kind.

The login is done with an administrator equivalent account.

The second server works fine.

I have even tried to install TS to get access to a non-console connection, I
have tried RDC client, in vain, it displays:
"The client could not connect to the remote computer.
Remote connection might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to
accept new connections.
It is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection.
Please try again later"

The server with problems is a dual PIV Xeon with 2 GB RAM, it's load is
about 2%, it works perfectly from any other point of view, I can also
connect with a remote Veritas Back-up Exec console to it's Back-up services,
I can connect in Remote Management as well without problems.

The Event Logs do not display any errors or access denied

Any ideas where I should start trying to solve this problem?

Thanks
