Hi,
When are you not getting the option to repair? You should boot the CD and
start the installer. Hit F8 to get past the license screen, then it should
detect and offer to repair an existing installation. If not, then the volume
holding the existing installation is likely corrupt, and you will end up
formatting - repair will not be an option. An alternate fix would be to
install to another partition, then recover the user data from the old
installation.
