That would explain slow browsing I think, again I am very new to this.
But would that explain the changing ping issues? I was not connected to
internet while pinging, just pinging host from clients. The max mtu w/o
fragmentation kept changing, sometimes 1480 and sometimes 1280. Pinging isp
from server always resulted in 1480, which seems to fall in line with what I
have read. Pinging isp from clients when connected always led to same value
that pinging host from clients was reading at that time. eg.. client to host
ping 1480 during morning time w/o fragments, connecting to isp and pinging
isp from clients would give same result. later in day pinging host would be
1290 and of course ping isp from client would be same, it seems it would
HAVE to be.
I guess I don't understand why the client to host value drops during the day
with no traffic and no known overheat issues.
Thanks for any answers.
