Hello Mario,
I don't have a solution for you in regards to the Windows 95 Client problem. Sorry I couldn't help, but I am just learning how to set up a server/client system myself and I was hoping that you may be able to give me some pointers.
The setup that we are trying to acquire is very similar to yours. We bought a new computer as a server machine that we want to set up as a database server using sql 2000. We installed Windows Server 2003 Operating System and we want to run SQL server 2000 on the machine. All the other machines will be clients runninng XP home or professional. The problems I am experiencing as of right now is that we want all the clients to be able to querey the database and store additional data to it, but I am unable to figure out how to get the other computers connected as clients. If you could offer any pointers for getting started I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for your help,
T.J. Angelo
