HI,
I would be greatful if anyone could help me out here. I have a client who has a brand new server with windows 2003 SBS on it. I set up Dynamic disks and I use mirroring for 2 120GB WD 7200 Hard drives. The motherboard is an Asus PS 800 (cant remember exact model) with a P4 2.8GHz.
Here is the problem.. The system runs fine for a week and all off a sudden one of the harddrives start clicking and eventually the system reboots. When it reboots it cant detect the drives anymore. After I reboot it a couple of times it comes back to life and works fine again for a week.
I have replaced the motherboard and I have replaced each drive seperately ( I tried each one because I couldnt tell which one could be bad). No matter what I do the system crashes after a week.
Any ideas? I have a very unhappy client and I cant figure out why this is happening.
Thanks much,
Jake
