I dont have the time to explain it to you, but you sholud really use
the templates from the cd! If you have a domain with 2k or xp clients
you should use their appropriate templates on the grouop policies for
the clients.
This is VERY important. Lock everything you dont NEED to leave open.
Microsoft have three levels of recommended security guidelines.
Enterprise, high, mid. Use atleast the lowest of these recomendations
to secure your network. Search for "windows server 2003 security guide"
and read the parts regarding your network! The XP version is called
"windows xp security guide" and is also very important to have in mind
when you configuring a network.
