    Where is it slow? Shutting down? At BIOS upon reboot? When you see the
    startup screen? You could look for any services that aren't needed but this
    is can be related to the type of hardware in the system? RAID? SCSI? Many
    machines with hardware that is RAID or SCSI or both can have their own
    diagnostics at startup and cause some slowdown in booting. Is this a NT4
    machine or Win2k or Win2k3?
