I have a Windows 2003 Enterprise Server, and for the past week and a half my users complain in the morning when they come to work that when they click on their network shares or mapped drives that they are getting an error that says they don't have permission to access this shared folder or resource. I have looked in all the log files and nothing is logging that would pertain to such an error. And it's not always every user that goes offline, it's random. It appears to be happening in the evening and when everyone comes to work around 8 that's when everyone notices. I can log into the sever remotely to check to see if all services are running and everything is good. It's just when I wake up and get the calls that I know there was a problem but again no obvious logging to event viewer. And the only fix is to reboot the Server and once that happens every can access public shares again. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
