IIUC, you don't get the "Press Ctrl+Alt+Del" prompt and you can directly
enter you username and password, right? If this is the case, you have
tampered with:
Local security policy\Local Policies\Security Options\"Interactive
logon:Do not require CTRL+ALT+DEL"

or the respective in a GPO under Computer configuration\Windows settings
\Security settings
