outlook express and deleted mail

    There is a new security risk that comes build-in Windows 2003 Standard Edition (can not tell for enterprise).

    If you set a new (old - where your old outlook express mail is), outlook express under windows 2003 standard edition will NOT ask you if you wish to keep old e-mail, but will simply DELETE it.

    It's really fun to know that "small and soft" even want to have money for product that deletes your old e-mail. Hm. Must be a new feature.

    Lesson - which should be tumb rule number when using any product of MS, - back up three time any data and store them to linux - just in case!

    Imagine my face - and my excitment - when that happend yesterday in the evening!!!

    My personal advice - don't use any of outlook (any version). I am changing to Eudora for good!
