Hi Steve,
Did you edit the mms call to point to your domain or IP address instead of
the server name when trying to play the files from a remote location?
When creating publishing points the default is mms://servername/filename
This needs to be changed to mms://domain(or IP)/filename in order to work
outside the LAN.
Example--my server is larry-P4. All mms calls default to
mms://larry-P4/filename.
If I want to play the Rush-Red Barchetta video the default mms call is:
mms://larry-p4/RushRed.
I must modify this for external use to:
mms://lsamuels.myip.org/RushRed
