Hello.
We have recently installed a windows 2003 server and are having a strange
problem.
We have a mixture of 98/2k/xp machines and while all connect to the server
at first, the windows 98 pc's will all disconnect at the same time then
refuse to log back in again for about an hour. When you put in the username
and pass then click ok, the login box dissapears but they wont log in. Using
ctrl/alt/del shows that mprexe is not responding. If left for long enough,
they will eventually all log back in at exactly the same time! This happens
once or twice a day.
All 98 pc's are running the dsclient from the 2k server disk.
2k/xp machines working fine.
Using wins.
There is nothing at all that i can see in the event viewer to show this has
been happening.
There is no other processes running on the server at this time, such as
bakup or anything.
Thanks in advance for you help...
