Hello,
I am asked to handle a windows media services
project for one of our customers who is a
Telecommunication provider. my requirement is to stream
content from a live source such as a Television and send
it an audience through a GPRS Network. although I have
worked windows and other technologies alot, im a little
week when it comes to media services. hence the doubts i
have.my questions are as follows?
(1)how does media services differ from Real... does it
have better streaming performance than Real?
(2)what are the equipment that is required to capture info
from a television?
(3)how can i fully optimise the stream so that i could
reach a wider audience with reasonable quality? how would
things differ when u run it through a GPRS Network?
(4) Any third party howto guides on doing these procedures?
Thanks In Advance
Regards
Imran
