Recently, I've set up a Server with Windows Server 2003
and then just recently I've been trying to configure
Terminal Services for Remote Administration. I think when
the server was set up originally, Terminal Services was
actually installed on it, but all I want is just the
administration part so I uninstalled Terminal Services...
Well, anyway, I've checked the enable box in the system
control panel under remote, I've assigned users and those
users can connect. For about a second. What I get is this:
I first get the logon screen as expected. So I logon with
my username and password. I then get the logon information
screens where I first see: "Loading your personal
settings..." Then "Applying your personal settings..." the
information screen goes away for about a second and then
comes back "Logging off..." and "Saving your settings..."
and I am then disconnected... I am able to log on to the
domain locally with my account without any problems. I've
tried creating new accounts, but that doesn't fix the
problem. Any help would be appreciated.
