Hello Eric,
Right click on My Computer and choose Properties
There is a 3- digit number in the format:
12345-678-9012345-67890
what are the first 8 digits from your number? 12345-678

It's not eval media or Winver would report an expiration date.
Thanks,
Darrell Gorter[MSFT]

| Company passed me another Windows 2003 server. I use winver to check
| the expiration date. However it does not have "Evaluation Copy.
| Expires xxxxx". No one knows what's the history about the server and
| it comes with no document.
|
| Is there another way to tell whether its a evaluation copy or fully
| purchased copy?
|
| Tks,
| eric
