Hi,
Im running a 2003 Server and require 2 programs to start on bootup The
problem is the server will be remotely administered.
I run a test by creating a user with special permissions to autologin at
bootup and run the 2 programs via a login script. then have the screensaver
set to 1min & set "on resume show welcome screen".
I also need to make sure the username is not used remotely otherwise the
programs will try to run each time someone logs in.
If I make an entry into "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon" they would start each time someone logs into the
server and cause problems.
This works perfectly...except The machine will be administered remotely via
RMC when I login as another user (administrator clone) then reboot the
system either via RMC or web admin, the machine reboots then auto logs in as
the last user logged in, although I had it set in the registry.
Any assistance will be appreciated
regards
Scott
