The worst thing that could happen would be...nothing. That would feel
uneasy. I have had software raid that behaved like this for six months,
after a mystical error. At last, hell broke lose. Turned out to be bad
contact between motherboard and SCSI controller.
Could the difference in behavior from BIOS and the Windows tool be
explained by that the Windows version might be aware about an error
reported from the drive cage driver?
