In the past I have been able to migrate XP Pro workstations from a 2000
domain to SBS 2003 with no problems.

This past weekend we were trying to migrate users on an SBS 2000 domain to a
new domain on SBS 2003. We were unable to do so using the "connect
computer" wizard and when we tried manually (system properties window) we
kept getting an "access denied" alert. We tried user both the new domain
admin account as well as the new users accounts. The list of machines and
users came up fine, so I know the machines were getting to the new domain
contoller.

We were finally able to get one machine on the new domain, but we have no
clue as to why it worked. We renamed the ntuser files to .old in the all
users profile, but that didn't seem to work with any other machine.

We ended up having to roll back to the old domain until we can get things
figured out. Any suggestions?
