Windows Server 2003 will work just fine as a desktop OS. However, your
license only entitles you to install it on one machine. Are you aware that
there is a Web Edition of Server 2003 that costs less than half the price of
a 5 CAL Standard Edition? See:

Also, I don't know how popular these web sites are going to be, but XP
includes a 10 connection version of IIS.
