Re: logon from the server machine !

The default Domain Controller policy in Windows Server 2003 does not allow
local logon for ordinary domain users. This setting will override the Local
Security Policy setting. So, you have 2 choices:

1. Use AD Users and Computers/Domain Controllers OU as I previously
described; or

2. Go to Administrative Tools/Domain Controllers Security Policy/Local
Policies/User Rights Assignment - and add the user to the Allow Local Logon
right. This will allow the user to logon locally to any domain controller
in the Domain Controllers OU.
