NTI Backup jobs work when created locally, not through RDP

When installing NTI Backup on server 2003 locally all
scheduled jobs run as scheduled. When creating the same
jobs remotely (remote desktop) then logging out of the
session they will not, even when logged into the console
as administrator. When you stay logged into the session
after creating the job it will run as well. Is there a
group policy or setting that can be applied here?

Any suggesstions are much appreciated.
