Are you really sure you have no message in Event Viewer? I have never heard
about that before. If it was a normal shutdown, you should at least have an
Information event.
Please, go thru all messages (Erros, warnings, Information), and find out if
you have any information. Without this information, i'm afraid we cannot
help you, because we have no idea what is going on.
Possible causes:
STOP error
Automatic Updates enabled, and it rebooted because of an installation
Virus
And in worst case, you have been hacked, and the hacker is cleaning up the
log so you have no idea what is happening.
