I have a Poweredge 4200 server with PERC 2,single PII 233. The server has an embedded Adaptec AIC-7860 and 7880 controller. I created (4) Windows 2000 Advanced server bootdisk. After the 4th bootdisk I get this error:
**STOP: 0x00000001E (0xC0000006,0x804E62BE,0x00000000,0x002A2B69)
**Adress 804E62BE base 80400000, DateStamp 384d5a76 - ntoskrnl.exe
If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.Try changing video adaptors.Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
How can I disable the driver when there isn't an OS installed?
Or, what driver specifically is in question. I am currently looking for the most updated driver for the Adaptec AIC-7860, I already updated the 7880.All other firmware has the most updated firmware.
