Unable to add users to NTFS permissions
Date: Thu, 19 Feb 2004 09:49:19 -0800
I receive the following alert when I try to add users and
groups to acl's (in this case a NTFS permissions on a
folder). "The advanced page cannot be opened because of
following error: The system detected a possible attempt
to compromise security. Please ensure that you can
contact the server that authenticated you." The server is
a Windows 2003 Server and is a member of a Windows 2003
domain. This event only appears to happen when logged
into the server as the domain Administrator. I have
logged in as another user with the same rights and am
able to add users to acl's.
What is wrong with the Administrator account?
