Thanks for reply.

We do not run the network on internet. To say we do use the public IP range,
but its all behind the firewall. It is a private network. As i said earlier,
its difficult at this stage to change the complete IP range on the network
from 198.x.x.x to any private subnet. You may consider it as private use only.

Yes, the company is using that range for the network and it's
difficult at this stage to change it to private.

Does that cause such problems ?

configured with root-hints and does not use forwarders. Event
