Hi Herb
Thanks for your full and informative reply - it is really
appreciated. I could follow SOME of it, but it starts to go beyond my
knowledge... and I need to sit down when I have a couple of hours and
a clear head to fully go through it.
So, I've got a simpler question that might get me to a resolution I
can understand and implement :)
I have got the domain www.amwindowsanddoors.co.uk, and upon completion
of a form I would like to send the details to
customer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx using authenticated SMTP on my
server. The error I keep getting back is "BAD RECIPIENT".
So, I have added the following SPF record:
v=spf1 a mx a:mail.amwindowsanddoors.co.uk ip4:213.171.216.0/24
ip4:88.208.249.0/24 ~all
However, it still doesn't work - I get the same error message.
Can you spot where I am going wrong?
Thanks
Darren
